Dear Education Champion, The Scorpion Booster Club is changing things up this school year. After the unprecedented success of the 6th Annual Casino Night, we are shifting gears and offering a unique sponsorship opportunity to maximize our fundraising efforts. This shift will help us put 100% of our funds raised directly into the classrooms for our students in grades 6-12. Because of generous education champions like you, in the 2023-2024 school year, we were able to contribute $10,000 to the marketing, advertising and promotion of the 2023 Budget Override, leading the effort to keep our schools funded at the same level for the next 6 years. Additionally, we ensured our track, swim, basketball, and soccer teams had team photos with senior banners, a dark room constructed for the photography department, art canvasses for all art students, teacher appreciation week gifts and meals at a value of over $3,800, holiday gifts for 30+ teachers, an annual scholarship for the valedictorian graduate, and funding of the unique and one of its kind Hovercraft Project, a STEM focused field trip for grades 5-6. As you know, Arizona is one of the lowest in the country for educational funding. Organizations like ours, the Scorpion Booster Club, help offset the costs and expenses for items the district would not normally be able to afford. Through sponsorship dollars like yours, we will be able to support numerous co-curricular and extra-curricular programs, activities, and educational opportunities for our students at Sedona Red Rock Jr/Sr High School.
