Your Scorpion Booster Club has been busy this fall.
We wanted to share some of our accomplishments and make you aware of opportunities to support the club and your school!
Accomplishments
We focused heavily on our mission to ignite school spirit so far this fall. We strategically worked towards driving participation from students and fans at school sporting events and to have more Scorpions Spirit Wear worn by all.
Scorpion Den Snack Shack
Concessions are a critical part to enhancing the fan experience. They serve as a social hub, where students, parents, and staff can connect. Your Scorpion Booster Club has opened concessions for Jr & HS sports over 20 times this fall offering a wide variety of snacks, drinks and spirit wear.
Booster Bucks for Academic Achievements
We provided nearly $3,400 in Booster Bucks across 168 students to reward them for their academic achievements. Booster Bucks are e-Gift Cards redeemable on our website or at our concession stands. We utilize this method of reward to help drive participation in club and sporting events and in procurement of Spirit Gear!
Veterans & Military Appreciation Game
We helped to organize and celebrate our active duty personal and veterans through a patriotic evening during our football home opener. We had the Verde Valley Detachment Marine Corps League present our nation’s colors, veterans from SAVCO helped with the coin toss, and we offered American Flags for fans in attendance.
Varsity Soccer & Football - Food Trucks
We have been organizing local Sedona food trucks to join us at our games for fans that want a more substantial meal or an amazing sweet treat. Our goal is to drive fan attendance and enhance the atmosphere of the sporting events while supporting local businesses.
Unified Special Olympics Team
We helped our Red Rockers get fueled up in style for their Bocce Tournament in Flagstaff. We provided them a Scorpions string bag filled with snacks, fruits, and hydration choices. They came home sporting 4 golds, 2 silvers, 2 bronze and 2 4th place ribbons!
New Spirit Wear
We've designed and printed a number of new styles of Scorpions Spirit Wear. The new merch includes hats, a variety of different t-shirts and hoodies. Spirit wear can be purchased via our online store or at our concessions stands.
Lew Hoyt Memorial Banner
On September 10th Sedona lost a devoted mentor, volunteer, and true community champion - Lew Hoyt. Lew spent countless hours coaching and encouraging Sedona Red Rock High School athletes — treating our students like his own. We honored Lew with a banner so he may continue to drive our Scorpions towards excellence.
Student Council Fundraising
We acquired and helped our Student Council sell neon glow sticks as a Homecoming fundraiser. Neon Night was aglow with supporters!
Spaghetti-a-Plenty Carb Load
We have continued the time honored Booster Club tradition of helping our Scorpions Football team carb load prior to home football games.
Fall Sports Seniors Honored
We helped to honor our fall sports seniors by designing and printing 25 posters of the athletes. After the fall sports season is over we will move them inside the school for the rest of the year and then provide them to the seniors to take home prior to graduation.
Upcoming Community Events
Your Scorpion Boosters are eager to connect with you! Community Events provide a wonderful opportunity for us to come together, engage meaningfully, and share our mission. Through these events, we drive awareness of the essential needs and exciting activities at Sedona Red Rock Jr/Sr High School.
Wildcat Carnival (West Sedona PTA)
We wanted to remind you that our friends at the West Sedona Elementary School PTA are holding their Wildcat Carnival this Saturday, October 25th from 11 - 5 pm. We support our future Scorpions and would like to thank the PTA for all they are doing to support their school!
Uptown Trick or Treat
We will be handing out candy and engaging with the community at Uptown Trick or Treat on Friday, October 31st near the main cross walk. We can't wait to see your creative costumes and join you at this fun event!
Fest of Fall
We will be in the Kid's Zone at Fest of Fall on Saturday, November 8th from 1- 5pm at Posse Grounds Park. We will have Scorpions Spirit Gear available for purchase, spreading the word about our mission, and have a fun activity available for our current and future Scorpions!
Soup-er Scorpion Sports Fundraiser
The school will be hosting its winter sports fundraiser "Soup-er Scorpion" on Tuesday, November 18th at 5:00pm. $20 tickets are for two people along with one gallon of your favorite soup. Taste all the entries and decide which is your favorite!
Opportunities to Help
We understand that not everyone may have had the opportunity to volunteer this fall, but there are still meaningful ways to contribute to the Scorpion Booster Club. We invite you to explore our outstanding needs and identify how you can lend your support. Engaging with your friends, family, and neighbors can amplify our efforts—together, we can enhance the co-curricular and extracurricular programs at Sedona Red Rock Jr/Sr High School. Every little bit counts, and your involvement makes a significant impact on our community. Let’s work together to foster an enriching environment for our students!

Theater Department - Four Post Bed
The Theater Department is in search of a four post bed prop for an upcoming performance. Do you have one you would be willing to donate? Do you know a person or business that has one they would be willing to allow the Theater Department to borrow? Simply reach out with any leads so we may help locate this prop.
Join our next meeting
The Scorpion Booster Club meets on the first Wednesday of each month at the SRR School Cafeteria. Our next meeting is Wednesday, November 5th @ 5:30pm. Join us to share your thoughts, expertise and help make a meaningful impact for our Scorpions!
