Look What We've Accomplished Together!
Supporting Our Athletes
We provided new volleyballs for the middle school program, hydration supplies for the football team, and worked with community partners to provide meals for traveling athletes through our Sting Partnership program.
Celebrating Our Seniors
We helped to make Senior Sunrise special with donuts for the graduating class and continued our tradition of recognizing senior athletes with large photo displays around campus.
Bringing the Fun
We treated students to ice cream during Homecoming and brought extra excitement to football games with free Scorpion T-shirt giveaways.
Showing Appreciation to Teachers & Staff
We have continued our staff appreciation activities, celebrated our custodial and maintenance teams with a special lunch and Scorpion apparel for School Custodian Appreciation Day, and supported teachers as they prepared for the new school year.
Building Scorpion Spirit
We have expanded our Scorpion spirit wear offerings, kept our game-day concession stands running strong, and created more opportunities for students to participate through volunteering.
Looking for something to show off your Scorpion pride? Check out our latest shirts, hoodies, and other Scorpion gear in the online store!
Supporting Our Ceramic Artists
Through the generosity of a local community member we were able to provide Mr. Ellis' classroom with a new wedging table. It provides a heavy, stable, and absorbent surface designed to prepare clay for pottery by removing air bubbles, evening out moisture, and homogenizing the material. We can't wait to see what our Scorpions have been creating in the winter art exhibition.
22 Year Long Community Sponsors — And There's Still Time to Join!
We're proud to have 22 businesses and organizations supporting our Scorpions this year. Their generosity helps make our programs, activities, and school improvements possible.
Interested in becoming a sponsor? It's not too late! We welcome additional businesses and community partners who want to make a difference for Red Rock students.
What We're Working On Next!
Several projects are already underway or in development, all aimed at making Red Rock an even better place for our students and staff.
Bringing Back the Scorpion Mascot!
Were working on bringing back the school's Scorpion mascot costume and are evaluating options to restore and refresh it. Our goal is to bring our mascot back to games, pep rallies, and school events to help energize Scorpion spirit!
If you are or know of a good tailor, costumer, or cosplay artists - please reply to this email and share!
Revitalizing the Gym Trophy Cases & Athletic Hall of Fame
We're developing plans to repair and refresh the gym's athletic trophy displays, improve lighting and presentation, and better showcase Red Rock's athletic history. Our students and championship teams deserve a display that celebrates their achievements!
Improving the Teacher Lounges
We've submitted a grant application to help improve teacher lounge spaces, with a focus on more comfortable seating and a more welcoming environment for our faculty and staff. We also have a long-time sponsor and school supporter, Gina Miller @ Empire Title Agency, who has offered to donate unused furniture to aid us in our endeavors.
Supporting Winter Sports
As basketball, soccer, and other winter activities get underway, we're working with coaches and school administration to identify equipment, apparel, and other needs where the Booster Club can make a difference.
More School Spirit & Student Involvement
We're exploring ways to make pep rallies more exciting, introduce new Scorpion merchandise, expand game-day giveaways, and support activities that bring middle school and high school students together.
